CCG/TCG Card Set Reviews

Lost Episodes Saga Overview

I think LES (Lost Episodes Saga) has done a good job of giving every main type of deck from GT on a nice bonus. Every style got plenty of cards for each of their 3 Masteries in GT. Something also worthy of noting, is the fact that they actually made some good Freestyle cards! In Shadow Dragons Saga, there were almost no Freestyle cards, which continues to hurt Freestyle decks, but now Freestyle can have some fun with some new cards, like every other style (Well, except poor old Namekian )

Individual Style Overviews

Red Style: Red Style got some nice cards. Red Internal Ki Blast has the possibility to aid Red Rush decks, with it's ability to shuffle a card from your discard into your life deck if the attack is stopped. Red Unsuspecting Trip has many possibilities, being able to double your If Successful Effects.

Blue Style: Blue Strengthens it's defenses in this saga. Blue Hercule's Intervention gives Blue Prevention a nice new card that not only eats all the damage, but destroys If Successful effects, a Blue deck's worst nightmare. Cards like Blue Goku's Kamehameha are trying to help out Blue Summoning by reducing the amount of cards you have to discard to use it to block an attack, but since those cards are attacks trying to help a majorly defensive deck type, it probably won't help that mastery much. Blue Present will give Blue Amplified decks a nice boost, widening the amount of cards that can be Augmented.

Black Style: Black becomes even more evil in this set. Black Pan's Energy Beam adds a new level of randomness to Black Masking decks. Black Maniacle Laughter will give Black Science a lot more power by discardig mass amounts of cards from your opponent's life deck.

Saiyan Style: Saiyan has reached new heights in this saga. Saiyan Lunge gives Saiyan Blitz a much needed boost, and cards like Saiyan Charged Attack give Saiyan Tactical even more Shifting juice to charge up more beefy attacks!

Orange Style: Orange has also grown a great deal in this saga. Orange Volcano gives Orange a unique skill of Dragonball Hatred, and Orange Burst gives both Orange Drill and Focused decks a very powerful energy attack that can either do huge damage or be used a second time, and for a very low cost!
